Illinois needs to become a compact nursing state.

Compact nursing states allow nurses to have a license in multiple states without applying for each individual license.  This eliminates barriers to nurses working across state lines.  

In the midst of this current COVID crisis, there is no better time to pursue legislation to make Illinois a compact state.   This would allow easier access for nurses to come work in Illinois with the critical nursing shortage.
