In Feb of 2020 my 16 year old child became a victim of sexual abuse. My ex husband was convicted and received a misdemeanor for his actions. He did not fall under Illinois guidelines for the felony and what's to be considered molesting. I have won full custody and guardianship of the 2 younger kids we share and his rights were revoked in court in May 2021. Now he's paying an attorney to remove his sex offense. Yet another slap in the face for my child. I need your help. I can't allow this to happen. Sex offenders should not be allowed to have their status removed based on the severity of the case.
