State Representative Litesa Wallace has proposed legislation to help victims feel empowered to report sexual assaults and rebuild trust between police officers and the communities they serve. HB 270 has passed committee, now we ask that the Illinois House of Representatives and the Illinois Senate vote to get the bill to the Governor's Desk and we ask that he sign this legislation into law.
