Illegal hawkers spill onto Ghatkopar station road in the west and spread over a huge radius, including MG Road and Khot Lane.

Shopkeepers and citizens in Ghatkopar West are at their wits’ end as illegal hawkers continue to multiply in the suburb. The unauthorised street vendors have encroached upon the footpaths of the bustling station road and spread to a radius of 3 km, including MG Road and khot lane.

Its really difficult for person to walk on footpath or side of roads due the hawkers.Even the due the them the traffic situation is also created, as a result its difficult to commute through the roads.

If anyone ask them to move, these illegal hawkers assault or bully them.

When municipal authorities come the flew some some hours and the they again return.

I as a citizen of the locality want a permanent solution to the problem.

On the behalf of all citizens of locality i would urge the authorities to do the needful.
