This petition is to remove online tag from IIT Madras Bsc degree. As a student of this degree we feel that it require no less effort than offline degree to complete because we have to give exams physically and regularly and the effort we put in this degree is comparable to offline degree. It is clear that online tag doesn't have good impact on this degree and it puts this degree in category of other online courses. Also from employment perspective it doesn't have good impact.

It is clear that this Bsc degree cannot be called online because we are giving exams regularly at the centers across India. In the covid era when most of the colleges are conducting exams online, we are giving exams physically at the centers.
