Don't make us come to school over break
As Ignite seniors, we have a lot on our plate on top of getting ready for college. With the recent news that we will not be following our actual classes schedules for breaks, not a lot of people are happy. If you look at ANY other school in the Boone/Kenton counties, you will see that they have a simple solution to students who take college classes - They follow their college schedules. It's crazy to me, along with all of the other seniors, that the Ignite staff feels the need to quite literally trap us in school while we are taking no classes. You say the goal of Ignite is to get us ready for college and adulting, but then you make us come to school when we have no classes. We do not take Ignite classes. We take Gateway classes. We might as well be Gateway students, and it's very wrong to say that we shouldn't get two fall breaks or Christmas breaks because "we already have one break, you don't get two". I think that with how far Ignite has come, the staff could definitely figure something out for the seniors affected by this. I'm nearly 100% sure that every single senior would be willing to do their internships at the correct time, and even work on the senior academic seminar work that is given all from home.
