Defibrillator access for all

Defibrillator access for all

Defibrillator is one of the highest used equipment in saving people from heart related death.
By having a defibrillator in a easy access space it can help in the time of a emergency. This equipment is need to support our local people whom are at highrisk of cardiac issues. The defibrillator means the difference between life of death of our community members as, IGA is a highly used resource in our community and we do require the support to keep our community members members safe. As IGA is in the most central part of the town it makes sense that a defibrillator is accessible from the shopping centre. You go to any other town and they have heaps of defibrillators available to assist in a emergency of this kind. We have one in coles and one at the Post-office. So why don't we have one at IGA with so many shops around the centre it could save someone you love and this effects our small community as a whole. We need to work together to ensure the safety of our customers, families and friends and the more we care about our community the better we can support the community. We also have a large number of visitors per year that might need to use the defibrillator to save a life. Cardiac issues effect all ages so keep that in mind.
