I along with thousands of other compassionate citizens are terribly disturbed over the recent Not Guilty Verdict by an Idaho Jury in the case of one Robert Crosland, a middle school teacher who blatantly committed one of the most heinous acts of animal cruelty.

This story is disturbing on so many levels. Exposing young impressionable minds to what Mr. Crosland did in his classroom at the end of a school day and had a few student's to watch and participate in his sadistic act is just out right unjustifiable.

The thought of Mr. Crosland introducing those students to what "he" referred to as a "sick puppy" and passing the poor dog around before he first tried to feed it to a snake and then eventually placed the living breathing helpless puppy trying to swim and fight for its life in a tank of water with a snapping turtle which pulled the puppy underwater thus torturing, drowning and eating it has got to be the actions of a totally sadistic and mentally sick person.  Mr. Crosland showed no compassion or empathy for his actions. One has to question where did the puppy come from, was it in his car all day, was it a puppy he had and starved it, did he even consider taking it to a Veterinarian? These and so many other questions are plaguing the minds of many.  I for one haven't been able to sleep for having nightmares of seeing the puppy swimming and struggling for its life while Mr. Crosland stood by and enjoyed watching. I can't eat or sleep and am physically sick over this whole story.

I am pleading with any and all compassionate and loving people who also feel that what Mr. Crosland did was a heinous act of animal cruely who will therefore agree to sign this Petition to have  Mr. Crosland's teaching certificate/license permanently revoked by the Idaho State Board Of Education.
