The airport will require approx £1 million pounds of public money every year to keep it running, and there are far more urgent problems needing that money spent on them.

Air travel is a major contributor to climate change. There are buses and trains from this area to all the important towns and cities already. Air travel is an unnecessary luxury.

Regular flights to this area will encourage the purchase of second homes as weekend cottages by  some wealthier inhabitants of the Glasgow/Edinburgh area. This will drive up house prices, and force young people in Skye and Lochalsh to move away.
