Try living on £53 per week which he says he could do

The Work and Pensions Secretary said he could survive on £7.57 per day if he "had to", as he defended a raft of cuts to welfare payments coming into force today.

I'd like him to prove this by living on £53 for a month where he would get no other financial help. He should agree to live in a flat with pre paid electricity and gas so that he can face the choices that ordinary people face every day. He should have all trappings of being an MP taken away and forced to travel on public transport as people who look for work would have to in order to attend interviews.

He should have no access to his bank accounts so he can't cheat. I feel it's important for this to happen as he not only boasts that he could but he should also understand the challenges faced by hundreds of thousand of people every day.

If you agree that he should put up or shut up sign this petition and share widely.
