The IAFF is a large organization and has the ability to speak, not only for the organization as a whole, but also the members. The members of the IAFF hold a high level of respect within our communities, and it is the obligation of the IAFF to represent us well. Therefore, the membership of the IAFF should have a direct say, via a non-biased majority vote of it’s members, to officially endorse a candidate for a high political office, such as the office of the President of the United Stated of America.
