The refugees should find a safe place, where they do not feel harmed, or persecuted.

It's a basic fundamental human right, the right to move around. In his book 'How to save humanity', Alex Tabarrok, a professor of economics at George Mason University says, “Borders are fine for controlling governments; I’m not against different places having different rules,” he says. “But they’re bad for controlling people. I’d like to see a much more open world — a world in which people are free to move about.”

Dear friends , yesterday on CBC radio I heard about a U.S. Refugee losing his hands to frostbite in his attempt to gain asylum into Canada . I am horrified and ashamed that refugees in this day and age cannot get the help they desperately seek in the United States or in our very own Country. This is inhuman and extremely shameful. Refugees are fleeing some of the most horrific atrocities and it is our job as human beings to have compassion and love for our suffering fellow humans. These people are mothers, fathers, daughters, brothers, sisters, family members, and friends. We must protect them and in doing so we protect the values we hold close to our heart. Freedom ,Equality,Peace and Justice.
Two men lost limbs for those precious rights and countless others have lost their lives for freedoms that the average Canadian takes for granted every day . We must not be complacent or silent . When we hear these things on the radio, tv ,social media they are real ! This is not a game ! This is not a show! We must speak up now and for the rest of our lives. Lives are not a game and people we don't know matter, because if we don't stand up now it will be us next . It will be on us forever if we don't try and stop hate crimes and acts against humanity . I urge each and every one of you to sign this petition and write a letter to your member of parliament and make your voice heard. The time is now ! 
