We need this if we are going to support Austin’s growing population.

Streets are for moving people. Cars are only one mode & it's arguably the least efficient mode in terms of numbers. Urban rail supporters in this city have had so many failures in the past couple of decades. Some are of our own making (2000) & others were the poorly planned Project Connect plan. In my opinion, the majority of the population is open to developing an urban rail system in Austin. So the next vote on a Lamar / Guadalupe line should be during a national election (e.g., 2020) when the greatest number of voters are likely to go to the polls.

Austin MUST add more light rail! and keep buses running. Both forms of transportation should have WAY more routes, later ride times, and more stops.

I have worked on Light Rail Planning in this corridor since 1999 and have considerable knowledge of this corridor. This corridor is the best corridor for a light rail transit in Austin, TX.
