Set Up Glucose Water Dispensers In Cities Witnessing Extreme Heat Wave
Why this petition matters

Extreme heat can be deadly.
Delhi recorded the hottest day in five years on Saturday (April 9) when the mercury touched 42.4 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was close to the 45 degrees Celsius mark in Gurugram.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted the heatwave to continue in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan for the next few days.
India also saw the warmest March in 122 years this time around. The maximum temperatures have been above normal by 6-10 degrees Celsius in most parts of northern and western India.
As of 2019, 1.8 million homeless people live in India. Millions of others run their business from the streets, on the road. The risk of heatstroke goes up as temperatures touch 45°C, according to experts. Several people are at the risk of falling severely ill due to the heat.
Sign my petition urging state governments to provide subsidized glucose or Electral Powder / electrolyte / glucose water, cold water dispensers across the state to provide some respite to its countless common citizens who lack the luxury of a home or its lavish appliances.
Imagine when so many delivery workers, daily-wage labourers, sanitation workers, hawkers, etc find a glucose water dispenser on the road. Will that not make their day and give them some relief.
