Please sign to petition President Biden to respond to the letters written to him by Lieutenant Colonel Elton Johnson, Jr., US Army Reserve Retired, asking the President to forgive his IRS back taxes in consideration of his military service to the United States in time of war.  Lieutenant Colonel Johnson deployed seven times in 12 years; two of these deployments were to Iraq and one deployment was to Afghanistan.  His deployments destroyed his company causing him to fall behind on his personal taxes (He was the sole owner of a small business).  Before becoming insolvent, his company was involved in the Mine Resistant, Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle program which has saved the lives of hundreds of thousands of US military and allied military personnel.  Also, please sign to also petition President Biden to instruct the US State Department to assist Lieutenant Colonel Johnson in his efforts to get approximately 200 Afghan Nationals out of Afghanistan.  These Afghan Nationals are individuals who worked for the US government/US military and their family members.  Thank you in advance for your help.
