Codeine Changes to Prescription

I feel that the change to Prescription for Codeine is an excellent decision so why is it made harder.
For a Prescription it is a low cost. Why now that both Disprin Forte and Codis decided to now longer supplying these products and only Aspalgin supplying this product at now double the price rather than at the PBS rather than the new legislation for a script item.
Anyone that that has a need for these products are in pain, and now the new laws make Aspalgin double the price they were on the shelf from a Chemist.
I was unfortunate to break both arms before Christmas and the cost then was around $8.00 and now with a Prescription costs $16.50.
If the law changes to Prescription then it should be at the PBS rate not double the price because a doctor agrees you need it.
Get behind those that genuinely need pain control for shorter or longer periods as their doctor prescribes or is the health laws wanted a bigger part of our money for pain relief.
Get the Health Minister and Malcolm Turnbull behind those in pain need NOT JUST PAIN RELIEF BUT HONEST HELP
