Mission Statement I have been incarcerated since the age of (16) for a 2nd degree murder charge. I was terrified to have been given such a serious charge, and I did not know anything about how to defend myself. I was given a court appointed attorney that was more interested in forcing me to accept a plea bargain than he was about actually defending me. His scare tactics eventually wore my mother down as well. Under this immense pressure, I saw no other option except to take a plea bargain that the lawyer told my mother and I would result in no more than (16) years. Contrary to this promise and bad advice from the lawyer, I was sentenced to serve (34). I am now asking for help in righting this injustice. Thank you for any love and support you give me.
