• I am doing this petition to bring attention to us women and families that are going through pregnancy, how rules have been relaxed for night clubs, cinemas, festivals concerts etc, but partners or appointed people to support pregnant women in all aspects of their pregnancy, are not allowed to go to all appointments and or scans.

Only the 12 week scan and 20 week scan, personally my partner was told to wait in the car for many of my appointments, this is with the Hywel dda health board. It is unfair for us to do it alone, pregnancy whilst many of the aspect's are solely on the pregnant woman carrying the child it is still a family event that's should include partners whoever they're might be.

I personally felt like a single mum doing this alone, it was heartbreaking, how is it that you can attend a concert with people you don't know all from seperate bubbles, WITHOUT A MASK! However an appointment to discuss the health and well being of your child, with someone from the same bubble, wearing a mask even offering to do a lateral flow test isn't allowed. I am hoping to change these rulings to change it for women and their families, as it really affects your mental health and emotional health.

I hope that we can get enough signatures from people who feel the same as myself and change this for the better. To be heard by someone who realises this is unfair, and realise this takes away precious moments that make pregnancy an exciting journey that's otherwise will be lost.
