HYBE in collaboration with Universal Music Group has been holding auditions for their upcoming pop global girl group. The HYBE X Geffen Global Girl Group Audition is the first time a K-pop entertainment company and a U.S. label have joined forces to put together a new music act. It is also the first time an act based in the United States will undergo the training process exclusive to K-pop industry.

However,despite of it being a "Global Girl Group" HYBE X Geffen have been holding auditions only across the United States. No in person auditions have been conducted in other countries as of yet and there is no guarantee of them holding it either. Earlier an online audition had been conducted but the applications had been mismanaged.  It is not fair to call it a global girl group and to hold auditions only in the U.S. Talent is spread across the globe and everyone deserves this opportunity. HYBE X Geffen held in person auditions in 5 major cities of the United States  but hasnt take any step to hold auditions in other countries. Aspiring artists across the globe wish to have an access to such an immense opportunity. We deserve an equal right to this opportunity and its only possible if HYBE X Geffen holds auditions in other countries as well. It is not a "Global Girl Group" unless you have scouted people from across the globe.

Please help us bring this issue to the attention of HYBE and Geffen Records by signing this petition. Everyone irrespective of their ethnicity and nationality deserve an equal right to this opportunity. HYBE X Geffen should hold auditions in other countries as well!
