Hurricane Harvey is Driving US Crazy

As an urban educator of Houston, TX, it has been tragic seeing my community experience such turmoil at the wake of Hurricane Harvey.

It has been tragic, especially for me, because I just recently lost my best friend and dog, Harvey.

As a Houston resident, I have witnessed and experienced the following within the city limits:

  • Water Outage
  • Fuel Outage
  • Electrity Outage
  • Lack of Food Supply
  • City Curfews
  • Mental Strain
  • Signs of Looting
  • Increased Homelessness
  • Increased Traffic
  • Increased Criminal Activity
  • Middle Class Suffering

I am asking for greater resources in regard to mental stability for the following groups and organizations:

  • Blacks and Hispanics
  • Children
  • Public School Systems
  • Single-Mothers
  • Community Centers
  • Impoverished Humans
  • Middle Class

The mental anguish Houston is embarking upon following Hurricane Harvey is horrific. Please Help!
