Say NO to Kings Delph Drove Poultry Farm & Slaughter House

This petition had 1,129 supporters

Peterborough City Council has been notified that Huntingdonshire District Council are in receipt of a revised planning application for a Poultry Farm & Slaughterhouse at Kings Delph Drove. Application No 12/01847/OUT

We are extremely concerned that the proposed site for this poultry farm and slaughter house is only several hundred metres from some residential properties in Cardea and Farcet and not much further from Park Farm and Stanground.

We have serious fears about the likely impact of the facility on residents amenity in terms of odour, pollution, the fact the area is a flood plain and that this is something that will likely cause more congestion at what is already a nightmare of a junction of Whittlesey Road and Ramsey Road towards Pondersbridge should HGV drivers find Farcet Village and Yaxley too difficult a route to the A1.

If you share our concerns please join us in sending a clear message to HDC by way of signing this petition and please tell your friends and neighbours.
