We demand to know which Freeholders take health care benefit. We're paying for it!

With Hunterdon Medical Center slated to lose more than $8 million yearly if Obamacare is repealed; with more than 11,000 Hunterdon residents slated to lose health care coverage---what was once a national issue, has some obvious local impact here in Hunterdon County. But do the Freeholders care? No, they don't.
A coalition of eight activist groups collaborated to ask the Freeholders to support a resolution opposing the Obamacare repeal. First, Freeholder Director John Lanza refuses to put the resolution on the agenda. When 30 residents email him about the issue, and another 25 show up to express their concern during Public Comments, the entire Freeholder Board is silent as mimes.
Then one resident asked if as a benefit for their part time job do the Freeholders get healthcare? Their answer: yes, they do get health coverage as part of their benefit compensation. But--when asked which Freeholders take the healthcare coverage---more silence. As long as the Freeholders have their healthcare, they don't care if you lose yours.
So, we demand to know which Freeholders take the health care benefit. After all, we are paying for it, and have a right to know.
Sign the petition and demand they tell us.
