Calling for immediate and decisive action to solve what Undersecretary General of the UN, Stephen O'Brien called "The Largest Humanitarian Crisis Since 1945."
The Right Honourable Stephen O'Brien stated that "Without collective and coordinated global efforts, people will simply starve to death."
Mandatory Aid Contributions to reach the 4.4 billion dollar (£3.6 billion) estimate by O'Brien, which he deems needed before July of this year along with other interventions as necessary.
"The famine in South Sudan is man-made," he said. Continuing to state that "Parties to the conflict are parties to the famine - as are those not intervening to make the violence stop."
