I feel we need to change the whole reason for child support! It’s too many fathers being prevented from seeing their children because the woman is upset and she wants to be spiteful. I feel like the change for joint custody is needed as well because you more than likely have to prove so much just to be in your child’s life sometimes even have to say bad things about the other parent and that’s not my aim. I think it’s crazy that the courts will find you and put you on child support before they find you and give you joint custody. A change in this will help my family because I barely see my son because his mother is very immature. I’ve tried numerous times to take her to court and have been unsuccessful! It’s too often woman always get the upper hand when it come to parenting. Woman get mad and put the father on child support knowing it can hurt him if he’s not working and as well as license getting suspended. Suspending our license does nothing but make the situation worse. You have woman using children as pawns and it has been going on for too long. Child support should only be for men who refuse to help and be a parent! Just think about how many young men haven’t had their dad around for years because of a scorned woman and I think it’s about time things change fathers are just as important as mothers are!
