This petition aims to show the bad things about extrajudicial killings so that all people will now be enlighten that extrajudicial killings in the Philippines are not that good anymore.

Extrajudicial killing is most referred to as "salvaging" in Philippine English.  An illegal executions- unlawful or felonious killings of a person by governmental authorities without the sanction of any judicial proceeding or legal process. This killing is a popular issue nowadays in the Philippines.

From the first week of July till the first week of October 2016, there have been over 3,800 deaths in the Philippines because President Rodrigo Duterte normalized the act of extrajudicial killing in his "War on Drugs", lowering the political cost of murder and thus raising the risk to defenders whose works threatens powerful interest. There are 1,550 of drug personalities have been killed in police operations and 2,994 are victims of vigilante or extrajudicial killings. These victims of vigilante were found dead in the streets, rivers houses and many more which their bodies have been mutilated with bullets, duct tapes in their mouth, and with placard: "drug user ako or pusher ako, wag tularan" (don't imitate me). The pervasive extrajudicial killing is a rampant and a violence crime in the country that have cause growing fear amongst the law-abiding Filipino citizens because they might be arrested and killed without due process. We must think that we must have a country that should uphold good governance in aiming an orderly and a peaceful country and not a battleground of shedded blood from the bodies of the accused drug users and drug pushers.

Since life is so precious to everyone that every person deserves it. It is the time for us to think that EXTRAJUDICIAL KILLING is not appropriate anymore. Let us wake up, join hands, raise our voices and STOP EXTRAJUDICIAL KILLING.
