Eliminate All Federal Restrictions for Women's Contraceptives

On October 6th, The Trump Administration released a set of specific regulations expand the rights of employers to deny women insurance coverage for contraception. On the same day, The Department of Human Health and Services rolled back the federal regulations requiring insurance companies to cover birth control, leaving it up the insurance companies to choose. More than 55 million women have access to birth control without co-payments because of the contraceptive coverage mandate, a mandate issued by the Obama administration. Under the new regulations which strip that mandate, hundreds of thousands of women could lose those benefits. Women are being deprived of their civil rights and it is our responsibility to change that. Women's rights advocates have been fighting for these reproductive rights since the 1960's and we can't fall back.
