On a Chinese TV Song Competition programme, Lay had been repeatedly mistreated by the staff. Then, when results for the winner of the competition was released, fans of the other groups yelled insults at Lay and his Team. Lay wanted to stand up for his Team but the staff cut off his microphone so he couldn't speak.

In the end, Lay shouted at the crazy fans and threw his water bottle onstage. His manager managed to get him offstage and had to apologise even though it wasn't their fault.

There is even a video where u can hear how mad  Lay has gotten because of it. They treated him disrespectfully, and we can't just stay still.
