Stop Single Use Plastics at Sushi Train

I was enjoying lunch at my local Sushi Train recently when i got thinking about all of those little plastic covers that they put over each plate.

I asked the staff if they are re-used or recycled and sadly the answer is NO.
In the back of my mind i always assumed that they were washed and re-used, but they are not, they are just thrown in the bin, into landfill.

Surely a franchise this large can come up with a more sustainable, and also ultimately more cost effective way to cover their plates... USE GLASS COVERS, NOT PLASTIC!

They should also stop using all of the single use mayonnaise, ginger and sauce packets and just have a bottle on the train that everyone can use.

Every small change we make WILL make a difference.

Please sign and leave a comment of your support and i will be forwarding the response along to management at Sushi Train Australia - together we can make a difference.
