Dear Sir/Ma'am,

To whom it may concern. I am writing this petition, in hope that something will be done because the Aetos Management Security Company, despite majority of the ground officers not able to commit to the new shift of 5 working days and only 1 day off, 12 hours shift, still been put in placed. We were forced to sign the agreement to the the new shift with effect from 1st May 2019, which we disagreed.

Many of us whom are married with children, especially with newborn babies, don't even have proper rest and very little time to bond with our children and to take care of them as well, especially if they are single parent, to top it off some of us are taking care of our elderly parents as well. On top of that officers off days are disrupted, the management forces us to do Overtime(OT) on our off days, against our will as it should be voluntary. Which is a violation of human rights and work-life balance under Singapore Ministry Of Manpower ruling, which Government Of Singapore promises their own citizens.

Previously under the 2 days, 2 nights and 2 off days, 12 hours shift, Officers are able to spend time bonding with their newborn babies and children and able to juggle in taking care of their elderly parents as well.

The management told majority of the officers, " If you all are not happy, just quit Aetos. Nobody forcing you to work" and that is where lies the manpower crunch because many of the officers who have been working for years out of a sudden had to force to resign.

Also welfare of the officers are not well taken care of and management always turn a deaf ear to our important feedbacks and almost never help out the officers.

Thank you for taking the time to see this petition and hopefully this message will get across to the relevant authorities
