Bilal Abdul Kareem started this petition to Abu Muhammad Jolani & HTS in Idlib

What is the Prisoners Covenant?

The Prisoners Covenant is a set of rules and regulations regarding the fair treatment of detainees in the territories controlled by rebel forces in northern Syria. It embodies the principals the Syrian people, and those Muhajireen who came to their assistance, are demanding HTS and related factions to follow.

It is unacceptable, that 10 years after the start of the revolution, the Syrian people still have no written document to say what rights they have and do not have, should they be arrested by the authorities.

The Prisoners Covenant is a document that calls for:
-A Fair and transparent judicial process
-A solid commitment banning the torture of detainees
-Confessions made under torture must be ignored by the courts
-An end to indefinite detentions
-And more…
The full document can be found by clicking Full Prisoner's Covenant.

Therefore we, the Syrian people, those who sincerely came to help them, and those who demand justice around the world are calling upon Abu Muhammad Jolani, as the defacto leader of Idlib and it's surrounding countryside and those who are in a position of leadership, to adopt the measures written in this document so that Islamic justice can be established and the Syrian people can return to the path which this revolution started on and concentrate their full efforts upon the removal of Bashar Asad and all of those who assist him in his crimes .

You can help the Syrian people and all of those who are fighting hard against oppression by signing this covenant and spreading the word to your followers.
