As Grade 9 Maths education at Hoërskool Hans Moore has been a sensative topic throughout 2021 with little to no action taken by the management of Hoërskool Hans Moore to address or rectify the situation - we are parents for the 2021 Grade 9 Students of Hoërskool Hans Moore are requesting that final 4th Term (Marked Exam papers) be given to each parent for assessment.

It has come to light that certain questions; namely Q7 & Q8, asked in paper one (08/11/2021) where not taught in class by the respective teachers but were asked in the exam paper.  These 2 questions account for an average of 20 marks towards the total mark for the paper.

With this work not being taught in class but being tested, it is detrimental to the further education, subject choices and subject access that will be available to our children to further persue their chosen careers. 

We as the parents of the 2021 Grade 9 Hoërskool Hans Moore students request that either the marked exam papers be given to us for further assessment and queries or these questions are disregarded and the marks being adjusted accordingly and the total paper mark being recalcuated to exclude questions 7 and 8 Maths Paper 1 written on 08/11/2021.
