Hundreds, if not thousands of us, in the UK are being told that there are serious long term supply issues with our HRT medicine. 

Oestrogel hasn’t been available for over two months and the replacement Sandrena is now out of stock. 

HRT medicine isn’t a nice bubble bath. It’s not a bar of chocolate or a nice glass of wine to calm us down. 

It’s LIFE CHANGING medicine that makes, at times, an extremely difficult day, a near normal one. Without it severe anxiety, breakthrough bleeding, heart palpitations and debilitating hot sweats can return as well. 

If this medicine was blood pressure or heart medicine, mental health medicine, or contraceptive medicine we would be being given answers as to how and why it wasn’t available. And we wouldn’t just be expected to stop taking it with one weeks notice. 

All I’m ever being told by doctors and pharmacists in the area and beyond is that no-one knows when the medicine will be back in stock. How can these people possibly not be informed with updates?  (I hasten to add that they are perplexed as well). 

Please can someone help escalate this enquiry so we GET ANSWERS and more importantly, GET THE HRT MEDICINE. 

I know for sure I’m not the only one suffering.
