Since the first lockdown in March 2020 thousands of people in private sector were removed from their jobs by owners overnight and lost their livelihoods without being given any valid reason or proper notice.A few who stayed had to take massive cuts in salaries under the threat that either accept what is being offered or leave.While there were small organisations that had genuine reasons to take these steps and discussed this with effected employees but some did this merely with the intent of making additional profits and were successful in achieving this because when the lock down opened there expectations from employees remained the same while the salaries and benefits were significantly compromised.In some cases whatever little pay was given during the lockdown was either treated as advance or sustenance allowance in lieu of earned or credited leaves were made to zero without informing employees.

People who were forced to submit their resignation during this time were also made to work on official work in lieu of getting their outstandings settled but still continue to struggle to get their gratuity, outstanding salaries and other committed benefits to date with no respite from these selfish employers who conveniently continue to make larger profits out of the employees hard work and not paying their dues.

I would request you to please sign this petition and make it reach the top Goverment officials / HRD Ministry who can step in to help millions who continue to struggle including their families and law be passed against such such employers so there is permanent respect for human life and employees interest are safe guarded which continue to be exploited by these handful of greedy people who make false promises and offer benefits which never get paid and they get away because of loopholes in the legal system
