Howland High School decided to remove the tradition of Howland seniors getting a senior quote. Last year this was an overall favorite feature of the yearbook and so many seniors have been looking forward to this since their freshmen year. It is unfair to us to remove this tradition when a lot of us have words of wisdom or funny jokes to share with our younger peers. This year of seniors have been through a lot, with the pandemic and having most of high school careers being behind screens and plastic barriers—we deserve to at least have a quote in the yearbook.
