Those with mental health issues are being failed country wide; this has to stop before any more lives are lost and families destroyed through lack of funding and resources for our overstretched mental health system!

I don't want to see another autistic or one with learning disabilities - a child, teen or adults end up dead or put into a mental ward. They are autistic - they do not have any mental illnesses. It's that simply. The need to be supported, educated and be able to grow and live life like everyone else. People who have Learning Disabilities deserve better than being abused - mentally and physically. Stop hiding them in mental institutions.

My sister and our family is being let down by mental health services in Debyshire. This isn't just Essex and we are not alone.

Vulnerable people have entered what are meant to be centres of trust and safety – a number voluntarily submitted themselves for help – only to be abused and exploited by some professionals who should protect them. They went in hoping for help and support and leave – if they leave – in a much worse off state than before. No family, no individual should ever have to go through that. These families have been failed by the organisations that are set up to treat and care for patients. We need a Mental Health Statutory Public Inquiry, the most vulnerable in society need protecting.
