How Biodegradable Waste can Change the Lives of Indigenous People in Nueva Ecija
Greenhouse emissions started in our industrial revolution. Ever since then, greenhouse emissions have been continuously growing in which its effects have been rapidly enveloping us. Well in fact, with this rate of envelopment of greenhouse emission effects on us, we would be the one to suffer in this predicament since greenhouse emission contributes to the continuous growth of our global warming that act as a propeller to further worsen our climate change which would bring us calamities we may never seen and this greenhouse emission also harms our health as its gas emits toxic emissions that is detrimental on our health.
On the other hand, many of our "kababayan" in the eastern portion of our province of Nueva Ecija, particularly in the mountainous area, still have the lack of access in electricity. This problem have always been there and it still ongoing to the point that where they are used to it but still can't get rid of uncomfortability and troubles of not having an access to electricity. If the situation is not solve for them then, they can their could only be struggles for them which they have to face everyday as they had to because of the lack of attention they get from the public to help them from their predicament which they had been dealing with for a very long period of time now.
A generator that can convert these lethal gases into electricity can be the solution to these problems.
Landfill gas generator is where landfill gas is converted and generate electricity. It is a system where landfill begins to decay and emit landfill gas, specifically, the methane gas. The said gas is the one who will make the generator work through burning the gas and using it as a fuel for the generator's engine. In this way, the created electricity will be distributed to different homes in a community.
The generator will help not just help to reduce the methane emissions from our biodegradable wastes but will also create a change for the lives of the indigenous people in our province. Through this generator, lack of access to electricity will never be their problem anymore and the span of this project can lasts longer because as long as the people produces biodegradable wastes, the generator will continue to work.
