Chance Daniel Nobra started this petition to Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and

This petition seeks to restore the Be Someone graffiti and protect this iconic piece of art by declaring it an artistic landmark.

This is one of the most iconic artistic landmarks in the city of Houston that has served as the essence of our city & a source of inspiration to anyone who's traveled on I-10. For so many generations of Houstonians it's not just graffiti written on a train bridge, it's a famous piece of artwork that represent the true spirit of our city and it's culture.

That artwork is important and helps to drive tourism to our city. it also serves as a world renown location for photographers looking to capture photos of the Houston city skyline.

Despite multiple efforts over the years to restore this piece of artwork to it's original state and constant coverage by the local media, it has once again been defaced by criminals or possibly a cabal of scorn Dodger fans...

This petition request the Houston City council or a member of our city, county, state government introduce and pass legislation that will declare it a protected artistic landmark in Houston and create a taskforce to have the bridge restored by the original artist if possible, or commissioning a local collective of artists who were inspired by the original artwork.
