Sunnyside is a historical neighborhood within Harris County (Houston, TX). It’s close proximity to Houston’s iconic landmarks and just a short drive from downtown, Sunnyside is not walk friendly.  With a more walk friendly neighborhood, children can play safe and neighbors can experience the lovely views of Houston’s skyline.

With the construction of sidewalks, businesses would be more open to invest in our community and make it much more attractive t nearby visitors of the medical center, NRG, and the Museum District.

Sidewalks will better unify the neighborhood—connecting neighbors to local parks, likeminded citizens, and provide a means to a healthier lifestyle.

Of course, there’s a cost but we should see about resources and cost or at least be considered different means to pay for this in addition to the taxes we already pay.

Help us make our community cleaner, safer, healthier, and more walk friendly by adding sidewalks. Every signature counts as we get these into the hands of the right Houston Council decision makers.
