H.R. 4701, otherwise known as HEAL For Immigrant Women and Families Act of 2019, is a federal bill introduced by Representative Pramilla Jayapal of Washington's 7th district. The purpose of this bill is to lift policy barriers that currently exist preventing immigrant women and their families from accessible healthcare insurance. The healthcare system's current setup does not support immigrant women in efforts to receive maternal, reproductive, or sexual care.

Access to affordable healthcare insurance would improve the overall health of this population, as well as help to diminish harmful disparities that exist in this population.
