Reform in mental health services

Reform in mental health services

Being a sufferer of mental health and receiving support due to where i live had saved my life. However, this is not the case for others and dependent on where you live. Money has been sucked out of these crucial services that do not have the capacity to help the people they need. Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 45 in this country. This is also a problem for women and children. We need a real overhaul of our services to be able to save peoples lives. Money found for Covid appeared to be found out of thin air and our we are facing tax rises. This Money need to go helping people and having properly trained staff who are paid what they deserve. This is not to shame people who work in this field as they do what they can with the recourses they have. However, this is a shaming of our government, capitalism and no sense of community. Please help me get enough signatures to get this to the House of Commons to be discussed and put pressure on to find money as they did for Covid or giving up their holiday homes with £500 rolls of wallpaper. We need help going into schools, mental health units and hospitals to eradicate the stigma and signpost to help people stay alive.
