Dear friends - I am grateful and honoured to be self-nominating my Indy shop, Helen of Troy Boutique, as the official venue for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest! 

I believe that it is truly the perfect solution, and after being open for a whole 4 months we are beyond prepared for an event of this size. Each t-shirt and cheeky art print sold brought us to this moment. This is just some of what we can offer to this iconic moment:

. It’s a pink medieval hall. Acoustics? Perfect. Colour? Iconic.

. We have TWO (2!!) neon lights. 

. We have a changing room available (1!!).

. We can easily sit 30-40 people including performers! 

. There are TWO (2!!!) mirrorballs on site who have dreamt of this all their shimmering lives.

. We do coffee now so that’ll be nice during little breaks whilst they show footage of countries. We’ll try and only steam the milk during and boring bits.

. I personally pledge to let Graham Norton use my chair to narrate from, for at least 50% of the time.

. It is on the cathedral close so lots of transport options including SW buses and exeter central. Also just a jump from other independent food places if anyone needs a vegan kebab or an artisan pizza AT ANY POINT. Deliveroo to Wembley? Laughable.
