Médecins Sans Frontières is an independent humanitarian organisation delivering medical assistance in more than 60 countries.

Health structures we support in Syria have been bombed or shelled more than 60 times since the start of 2015. Médecins Sans Frontières health workers and health structures have also been targeted in Yemen, South Sudan and Afghanistan - among other countries - causing intolerable suffering, death and destruction. And this is only the tip of the iceberg of reported attacks. All of these attacks are depriving people of access to life saving medical services.

Some of these attacks are carried out by countries that signed the Geneva Conventions. They no longer seem compelled to uphold international humanitarian law and are ruthlessly bombing civilian targets, including hospitals.

We refuse to accept that this is the new normal. Even war has rules.

Médecins Sans Frontières is seeking to increase public awareness around this issue. Please help by signing the pledge to stand in solidarity with innocent civilians and humanitarian aid workers around the world.
