Why this petition matters
Started by SEIU Local 121RN
In the thick of the worst public health crisis we've ever faced, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA)—the largest, wealthiest for-profit hospital chain in the United States, is using patient privacy laws to silence Nurses who are speaking out about what is happening inside the hospital walls. Nurses and other healthcare workers don't have enough personal protection equipment (PPE), and they've turned to the pubic for help. Instead of supporting them, HCA has told Nurses they may be fired for speaking the truth.
HCA must stop censoring front line healthcare workers, whose only aim is to protect their patients, their colleagues, and their communities. To survive Covid-19, we need to hear their voices now more than ever.
