Horse Trails in Tipp City Parks Wanted by tax payers!

This petition made change with 329 supporters!

It was in the original Kyle Park plan. Horse trails allow an expanded recreational opportunity for all citizens.  Of special value is providing recreational opportunity for underserved segment of the population--citizens with limited or fully impaired mobility.   By means of a horse, they can now access portions of the park otherwise not possible.  Youth opportunities also....there are 13 horse clubs in the county, yet no horse trails.

Costs is always a concern.  The best part of this idea it is considered cost neutral.  Because it is in conjunction with a walking/hiking trail. Add to the fact horse clubs & trail organizations will provide donations and grants for signs and incidentals.

Horses tie to the historic 1840-60's era provenance of the City and attracts tourism.  It also supports the city's strategic plan to create a recreational destination to attract people in to live, work, and play.  All around win for the city and the citizens!

Please share this petition with everyone you know that is supportive, in particular tax paying residents, business owners, plus those paying into Tipp City Schools through tuition.  We have to act goes before the Tipp City Council May 7, 2012.
