Offer 100mbps and Gigabit Fiber Internet Tiers

HTC had the foresight to lay fiber for 20 years. But now they're falling behind. SC companies such as Home Telecom and Comporium are already offering gigabit service in the state for around $100/mo.

Google Fiber continues to expand its offerings, over 100 cities have recently committed to offering gigabit Internet, and recently the FCC changed rules allowing municipalities around the country to begin offering fiber Internet services.

Having high speed Internet options for residential and business at reasonable prices helps draw residents who are in careers that take advantage of this speed, and increases economic output. We want to grow the Knowledge Economy on the Grand Strand and we need high speed broadband to do that! Combined with the President's new Connected Home Initiative, HTC can serve the full spectrum of Internet customers.

We need your support to show HTC that there IS demand for high-speed fiber, that they SHOULD offer such tiers of service, and that if they offered a 100mbps up, 100mbps down service for $100/mo, we would sign up for it!
