Stop legal littering now

I would like the Sun News to stop throwing unsolicited fliers all over the county.  They regularly throw millions of unwanted plastic wrapped papers in our driveways and ditches every week.  They even throw them in drives where there is no house.  Even if there are 15 rotting old ones, they still leave another.  The number on the flier for opting out doesn't work, no one calls you back and next week there are hundreds more everywhere.  We have a reduce the use program in place in SC.  Commercials that lay out a plan to reduce litter in our state obviously don't apply to these newspaper corporations.

It is a pathetic attempt to boost subscription sales.  I can think of no other reason for it.  We the people are fined for littering, why aren't they?  They have been doing this for years.  I think they should pay those same people who mindlessly sling trash all over the county to come clean it all up. If I wanted the paper, I would subscribe and it would be placed in my mailbox.  Instead I have to play phone tag every year with these people to make it stop.  Its not working!  I'm tired of looking at their trash.  I don't know how they are legally allowed to pollute, or what it will take to make it stop.
