As we all know, there have been many issues regarding the school transportation arrangements in the Sulphur Springs area. The many reports of students enduring verbal and sometimes physical abuse by NOT only other students but ALSO by staff members! The people we entrust our most precious people dear to us, all for them to mistreat them while we are not with them. The director of transportation needs to put a stop to this. There needs to be more accountability for adults actions and the worries of parents and students when concerns are voiced listened to and taken serious!! monitors need to be placed on each and every bus to ensure 2 people and 4 sets of eyes are watching, Videos taken during travel times need to be available to parents of victimized children, working digital monitors need to be placed on all buses to ensure safe speeds are being followed. These are just a few of the items/concerns that need to be addressed and fixed.

We as parents are the only voices our children have and this petition is the first step in making the district aware that we are no longer sitting back and allowing this. With every signature they will see that there are many concerned parents and they need to hear us!! Love our babies and protect them as if they were their own.
