Change the Graduation Dress Code to Allow Girls to Wear Tuxedos

Hoover Middle School has always had a very strict policy regarding dress code, which is usually understandable and even agreeable. However, they completely crossed the line when they force their eighth grade female students to wear dresses even when the girls feel uncomfortable in doing so.
My little sister, Parker Chaddock, has several body-image issues, and doesn't feel comfortable with the way dresses make her look. Despite promising to continue to dress appropriately in a rented suit or tuxedo, the school administration still made her fight tooth and nail, even drag my mother into the situation, before they finally agreed to allow her to dress in a suit. But this hasn't changed their policy regarding graduation dresses, and I don't believe that's right.
Please help me raise awareness that denying girls the right to wear clothing that is comfortable for them (while still, of course, remaining formal) goes against their freedom of expression and can be seen as sex-based discrimination.
