VOTE TO ELIMINATE A HARDSHIP TO ATTEND A SCHOOL OTHER THAN MANCHESTER
This petition made change with 217 supporters!
VOTE TO ELIMINATE THE NEED TO PROVE A HARDSHIP when making the decision to allow a student from Hooksett to attend a High School outside of the Manchester District if they so choose to. Right now, if a Hooksett student chooses to go to another school (Bow, Pembroke, Pinkerton, etc), they are denied unless they can prove they have a financial or other hardship that would require their child to go outside of the District. With everything going on in Manchester ie. underfunded education & the overcrowding of the 2 High Schools, we should be allowed the opportunity to send our children elsewhere if we are willing to pay the tuition difference for the school we choose to have them attend.
The school board makes their final vote on OCT. 2nd …. So, please take a second to sign this petition asking them to VOTE to ELIMIATE HARDSHIP.
** This vote has nothing to do with whether Hooksett will continue their contract with Manchester, this is simply to allow a better opportunity for students to attend a school of their choosing **
