HM Fashola Please Fix Ilorin-Egbe-Kabba Road Before all the Users Die

0 have signed. Let’s get to 25,000!

The road between Kabba through Egbe in Kogi State to Ilorin in Kwara State has for long been left unattended to in a state of disrepair. Several lives have been lost and many more are daily being lost due to accidents, robberies, kidnapping (which have been made easy as a result of the state of the road), economic activities in the communities are at a standstill and many indigenes of these communities are been unable to make important trips to their various communities. Those who have dared to make the trips have had to pay dearly at the mechanics garages in repairing their vehicles.

I am from Odo-Ere, one of the communities along the road, my aged and widowed mum lives in my town, but neither me nor any of my siblings have been able to see her for over a year because the road is not only not motorable, but has become a death trap. The last time she made the trip, she was immediately hospitalised.

This is the case with many indigenes of the communities from Kabba, Gbede, Mopa, Isanlu, Ejiba, Odo-Eri, Odo-Ere, Egbe, Koro as well as many other communities in Kwara State.

The only solution to our plight is for the Federal Government to take urgent steps to #FixOurRoad so that the needless deaths and despair can end. We therefore call on the man with this responsibility, HM Raji Fashola to quickly come to our aid and #FixOurRoad. It is the duty of any government to provide the basics for its citizens to thrive.
